DECEMBER!

Despite the fact we're already in the double-digit days of January, here's our December.
December 1st was on a Wednesday, and let the activities and celebrations begin.  Avery's choir program at church - that was one big stage of lots of little faces.  We spotted her quickly and you could tell she was singing her little heart out.  Lots of practicing at home, listening to her songs online.  Memphis Botanic Gardens - the highlight for me - making smores around the firepit (gotta get me one of those).  Arlington Christmas Parade - pure fun!  Shane was out of town for 5 days - not fun but we survived (on very little sleep for me).  Alpine Village at Trinity Baptist - PawPaw and JoJo visited  for this one.  Avery's Christmas party at dance class.  Avery & Parker's school party - assisted in Avery's party; I was in charge of the crafts; they were easy;  thank goodness; excited 4 year olds who barely sat down to create their craft.  Singing Christmas Tree.  Avery's dance program - she danced to "I Got the Chickenpox for Christmas"...very cute.  Avery's school program; more good singing.  (I failed to get pictures of any of these; forgot camera; camera stinks - need to add new camera to Christmas list.)  Several sits in Santa's lap at mall.  Bass Pro twice.  Sunday School (oh wait...I mean Life Group) Christmas party.  Operation Christmas Family;  Shane sharing the Gospel - Amen!  Majesty music at church.  "Friends" Christmas party at our house; "Bangkok Alley" giftcard - yum.  Shane off all week - yay!  To Mom & Dad's for Christmas.  48 hour high fever!!! virus inhabiting each of our children.  Carter no sleep = mommy & daddy no sleep.  However, we had tons of fun.  2 movies.  Reindeer food.  Milk and cookies.  Santa Claus.  Family gift exchange.  Happy Birthday Jesus!!!
