Happy Thanksgiving & Happy Birthday, Shane

How appropriate that Thanksgiving Day fell on Shane's birthday this year!  He is definitely at the top of my "thankful list".  We spent Thanksgiving in St. Louis this year with Shane's side of the family.  We had a ton of fun with our cousins that we haven't seen in over a year.  There was lots of catching up to do.

Here's Avery and all the Cross boys, already following her female instincts...holding onto the babies.

Parker loves his uncles...here's Uncle Shannon.

...and here's Uncle Shad

So we went ahead and exchanged Christmas presents while we were there.  I bought both Venice and Nicholas Star Wars "light sabers".  Well, guess who was fascinated by them?  Parker, of course.  Needless to say, as soon as we got home we went to Target and bought one for A & P...you know, you can't buy just one.

We spent a fun day out at PawPaw's and the big hit was his new tractor, with a corale built on the back.  Despite the cold, we bundled up and let the kids run wild!  I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or PawPaw.

And the train took many trips that day as well.

Carter even got a piece of this action....

Check out the caboose!

Another great visit with the family.

  1. Candace, that's funny because my mom has always said she thinks Parker looks like Shad.
