Disney, Day 7 and we're headed home

It's Saturday and time to start heading home.  One of the great advantages of driving to Disney is that we were in no rush or time agenda to catch an airplane.  We could just go on our own schedule and hit the road when we got ready.  Thus, one more character dining.  And how better than another princess meeting...especially since Avery & Presley could experience this one together, and since Parker has probably had his share of characters, and since the next time we visit Disney these princesses probably won't be quite as magical to Avery as they were this time.  (I'll let the pictures do the talking :-)

What a way to end our vacation at Disney!

And so we hit the road.  The kids traveled even better on the way home; probably because they were so exhausted from the whole week.  Here's proof:

We stopped in Birmingham for the night, and the next 4 hours home the next morning were a bit agonizing to this mommy who was ready to get home and see her baby!  Carter was so funny when we got home.  He was sitting at the table eating lunch and when he saw us he just looked at us very confused, like "hey, wait a minute, where have you people been?"  He immediately went to Shane.  No feelings hurt here; he eventually gave me some snuggle time.  My dad commented that Carter went straight to Shane because he had been stuck with a bunch of women all week; he needed some male interaction, ha!

Thank you, God, for such a fun vacation, for travel mercies, and for taking care of Carter while we were gone.  This one's going down in the books!
